What exactly is ‘The MuT’?
The MuT is a specialty tool designed to address many tasks within the sheet metal industry. As additional requirements were gathered from the industry, the design prototypes were modified to address more and more functions. The result is a multitool that performs many tasks of other tools while also performing many tasks that had no solution – yet.
While developing products for the HVAC industry, the engineers at IAAT Technologies discovered that there was a glaring oversight within the toolset available. Yes, technicians are a resourceful group and get the job done, one way or another, but there was never a tool designed for some of the functions.
The obvious answer was the development of a tool that would address the many needs of the technician as they worked.
After many prototypes and endless discussions with HVAC experts, schools, unions, and even beginners in the trade, The MuT has become the multitool it is today. A tool that you can rely on to get many jobs done – faster, easier, and with better results.
Thus, “The MuT” was born.
